Milky way - 9.11.2020 at 21.34 Rovaniemi Observation number 94891

Visibility III / V

Sari Pietikäinen, Corona Borealis, Rovaniemi

Despite the bad forecasts, I set out to hunt the northern lights and check out a new possible shooting location. The northern lights were found as a rather pathetic attempt in a couple of pictures, even on the camera screen they didn't stand out ... And the place was bad in the end. I hadn’t thought about how much the red lights on the nearby mast would color the landscape. Well, but the Milky Way was quite bright above the beautiful landscape, so I photographed it then. I got some good tips for adjusting the image, and this is now the result of two nights of adjusting practice. I still certainly have something to adjust, but now I'm pretty happy with the picture myself.
