Mars - 29.8.2020 at 01.43 - 29.8.2020 at 02.50 Lempäälä Observation number 93240

Visibility IV / V

Ari Haavisto, Ursa (Länsi-Suomi)

Now Mars has already agreed to reveal a little of his secrets during a valid infrared session. The areas of Mare Cimmerium are nicely displayed there.

Edit: Almost in the middle of the Martian disk, two thin dark promontories “hang” down from the dark Cimmerium. Farther from the headlands is the Gale Crater, where Curiosity conducts its research. The crater is the width of the headland, i.e. it is practically visible in the pictures, although it does not stand out.
