Binocular comet NEOWISE - 26.7.2020 at 01.25 - 26.7.2020 at 02.04 Espoo Observation number 92325

Visibility Unclassified

Last weekend, the Neowise hunt drowned in a great night cloud show. This weekend, the idea for Saturday night was "Neowise or never."

When the sky was almost clear after midnight, and no night clouds were noticeable, it had to start moving.

It took its time to find the stars on the hind legs of the Big Bear with binoculars, and a foggy comet's head was finally found there. The camera on a tripod and zoomed in on the Big Bear's hind legs down until Neowise hit the spot. And not too early as the back slowly crept into the scattered cloud cover to cover the celestial bodies.

The first image at 1.54 and the second at 2.02, when the first clouds had already reached the image area.

For myself, I paid attention after the summer pictures that a more stable tripod would make shooting the stars with a long tube much more comfortable: D
