M87 - 15.4.2019 at 23.00 Kirkkonummi Observation number 82620

Visibility III / V

We photographed the M87 ellipse galaxy at the Metsähovi Observatory of the University of Helsinki. The picture shows the shower caused by its giant black hole. Radio astronomers described the shadow of a black hole in the center of the galaxy and a photon ring generated by electrons falling into it.
