With few sites in the spring sky, I decided to continue the Suomi100 asterody project.

This became item # 11.

I couldn't find a Finnish wiki page in Lappajärvi, but it was Swedish.
About the Lappajärvi asteroid :
The asteroid was discovered by Yrjö Väisälä on February 22, 1938.
It orbits a track with the outermost point being 2.5 AU and the nearest 3.6 AU.
The asteroid is 16 km in size and has an albedo of 0.26 and a spin time of 9 hours. Rotation time 5.42 years.

The second brightest (about mag 12.1) asteroid in the picture is 65 Cybele.
About the asteroid Cybele :
It orbits a track with the outermost point being 3.0 AU and the nearest 3.8 AU.
The asteroid is 237 km in size and has an albedo of 0.071. Rotation time 6.36 years.
