The performance was well under way at midnight. I took field shots in less than an hour until 0.51. The show was between northwest and north and remained roughly in place. When I looked at the pictures while still half past three from the narrow view of the window to the north, the show just went on. There were long wide belts in the sky. The use of the highest spectacle categories was already under consideration. Two consecutive negays came to a fair credit.

Komeata pukkasi. Tällä kertaa niin idässä, kuin lännessäkin kuvatut pilvikuviot olivat samanmuotoiset. Eli pilvet olleet todennäköisesti suhteellisen korkealla.
Kyllä tuo kirkkaimpien muotojen osalta mielestäni kipusi kirkkaasi (k=4) tai jopa huomiota herättävän kirkkaaksi (k5). Oli toki laajoja alueita himmeämpää yöpilveä.
Olen tavannut kuitenkin suositella maksimi-intensiteetin käyttöä kirkkausluokituksessa.
Joo, oli ne oikeastaan kirkkaita.
