Binocular comet LINEAR - 4.4.2016 at 03.35 - 4.4.2016 at 04.30 Lahti, Nastola, Kottero Observation number 51151

Visibility III / V

Samuli Ikäheimo, Lahden Ursa

Comet 252 / P flew on Monday morning past quite a rich background. In addition to the comet itself, Messier 10, 12, and 14, as well as NGC 6366, all spherical constellations, ended up in the main picture. Looking at the picture, I have no wonder at all why Charles Messier once began to keep a catalog of his objects, so much so with the comet and the spherical constellations.

When shooting, I was able to keep a pretty shark at dawn with the brightening sky, which brings a bit of color to the two wider shots.
