Petavius - 22.2.2015 at 19.30 Vaasa Observation number 33812

Visibility IV / V

Timo Alanko, Vaasan Andromeda

I tried what the camera gets out of the moon in such a hazy weather. Finally, I peeked at it more visually and was horrified that now the moons had hit the flagpole. Had you seen one crater at the bottom of such a straight narrow shadow that stood out as a needle sharp. In the camera images, it didn’t stand out as sharply.

The web then revealed the crater to be Petavius, and there is no flagpole there, but a narrow river-like sink, the shading of which I guess I admired. Then the discovery of the century was still not made :(
