Visibility IV / V
The Arctic of Oulu organized an extraordinary gathering in honor of the Messier supernova. Just over a dozen pairs of eyes found a tiny twinkle in the various eyepiece views - however, with such varying success that at least this subject cannot yet be considered quite effortless. In the evening-illuminated sky, however, the M82 itself seems to be even more challenging than the supernova .. which is quite amazing when you remember that in the first one star shines and in the second hundreds of billions.
During the exchange of the eyepieces and warming up, 50x15s images were clicked, which resulted in a stack of about 12 minutes.
