Visibility I / V

(313607) 2003 QL30 (2003 QL30) The Mars-Crossing asteroid was imaged on the first night of the 2022 November talcos. The asteroid was discovered by Australian amateur astronomer John Broughton (b.1952), at the Reedy Creek Observatory (428 – Reedy Creek) on August 24, 2004. John Broughton is one of the amateurs who discovered the most asteroids in the world. He has also developed telescopes suitable for search and the search methods that support them. He has found a total of 1180 asteroids and comets P/2005 T5 (Broughton), C/2006 OF2 (Broughton). Source Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Broughton . John Broughton's own observatory is located at Reedy Creek, a suburb of the Gold Coast in eastern Queensland, Source Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reedy_Creek,_Queensland . The estimated size of the asteroid is 1.2 km. No other information can be found besides track information. At the time of imaging, the asteroid was at a distance of 0.4971au and at its closest on October 31, 2022 at 0.46846au.
