Just before the maximum, I got the rascals stretched and ready to shoot. Here in western Finland, the eclipse was visible cloudless from beginning to maximum. The final stages are partly filtered by the cloud cover and the final itself is still relatively good. There were interesting almond clouds on the southwest horizon and part of the session was spent recording them with a digital camera.
