Visibility II / V
A calm aurora arc/belt appeared in the low northern sky on the night of 4/5/10/2022. The clouds arrived after one and completely covered the northern lights from view at 01:30.
The most active phase of the play was around 22:00-23:30, after which the northern lights faded away for a while. As it faded away, the aurora belt broke up as if into "rayed patches" or "blobs" (pictures 3-4).
At 00:50, a new aurora borealis began to form on the northern horizon, but the clouds soon prevented it from being seen.
