Visibility IV / V
Deep Sky Digiscoping. I got Celesteron's smartphone adapter and tried whether it is possible to take deep sky pictures through the eyepiece of the telescope with a modern cell phone. The target was the old familiar Messier 27, i.e. lifting pressure nebula, the Samsung Galaxy S20FE phone as the camera and Celestron's C14 as the telescope. Eyepiece 32mm. Here are 25 15s exposures stacked and processed. The picture has had to be cropped from the original size, because the stars on the edges stretch.
The second image is an unprocessed screen from the phone.
It is planned to tell more about this topic and experiences at the DS meeting on September 3, 2022
