Visibility III / V
The day's storm photography trip went to the west coast, where, according to the models, there were thunderstorms coming up from the sea throughout the day. At first, in Pori, I heard a distant rumble from the sea and I also saw a few distant flashes of lightning. When the rain started to mess up the visibility in Pori, I drove to Luvia, towards which there was a stronger echo of rain and lightning coming from the south. Shortly before the observation site, the cumulus cloud began to separate from its parent cloud and the approaching thunder band weakened.
