Visibility III / V
Pictures were taken of the corona in the zenith during 23 seconds. This was preceded by the activation of the western end of the arc, where after a magnificent fire dance lasting 2 minutes, the fire rose to zenith, where Korona then lasted a minute. I had already packed my stuff and had just left to walk home from the scene when the situation surprised me. I suddenly took out the camera and didn’t have time to put it on a tripod that was already packed. So the pictures are taken with the arm, the arms outstretched towards the sky and the head as far back as it just bends. Her hands trembled with cold and excitement. However, the images turned out to be reasonably good as the shutter speed was only 1/6 second and the camera & lens image stabilizers were on. In the last image, Korona divides into two parts and the western part returns to the horizon, triggering afterglow.
