Juuso Nurmio, Ursa (Länsi-Suomi)
Very low from southern Finland, but the rocket launch was still caught on the sky camera. The last image is the maximum stack of images showing the barium cloud.

It was great again, but the fog came and after ten o'clock we haven't seen much. A bit before eleven, however, kajo has been seen even through the fog/clouds. At first I suspected some kind of disturbance, but apparently the activity has increased just at that time, so it must be the northern lights.

It was a handsome set again, especially the red one has been well displayed again.

It's good that this meeting was captured a day earlier, at the minimum distance, because the sky was blocked at the h-moment.

Another wonderful aurora night after the previous one. This time I really went out, but it's just a shame that it was precisely for that break between nine and ten. Maybe next time... After all, the sky camera showed what it missed.

The sky camera's collection of the night's events. I wish I could have wondered live... The reddish tone is confusingly attention-grabbing.

A nice sunset and twilight rays. Maybe there would have been a little pearly brown included at some point.

Based on a few other observations, it was found on the camera, even though there has been some kind of cloud in between.

There was a handsome weave after a long period of rain. The Sun alone would have been enough, but this is fine too.

Pitkän Viirun was left on camera by this fireball. It has been obviously spectacular.

I didn't see a single Perseid, and I apparently went to bed a little too early for this rocket launch, but I still got a nice streak on the sky camera. #raketti: Falcon 9

A halo fetched through a little harder again. I looked at a picture of the sky camera somewhere and noticed a ring around the Moon. As I later went through the images through the night, the 120 ° side moon, which had been visible for a couple of minutes, hit my eyes. Unfortunately, the Moon itself is left out of the picture, but yes at least the ring and the top side can be distinguished in some of the pictures.

There was a suitable high cloud in the sky all afternoon and at least 22 ° the ring seemed to be visible in some form whenever it happened to look at the sky. At some point the horizon ring also hit the eye, and in that halo, when, according to previous experience, it has been customary in similar circumstances to come and go and therefore appear in the sky camera comfortably, in time for the video of the afternoon. In the video, the counter-sun flashed for a couple of minutes a little after noon and, more closely, Wegener. These were indeed barely visible for barely five minutes. I took an av...

An image and video of the sky camera from last night's balance. The video shows interestingly how big belts move slowly in the exact opposite direction than more detailed faster moving clouds.

We had to try to detect this too, when we can't get any worse than comets. There were ancient binoculars for the purpose of traversing terrestrial objects. The intention was to set off from Capella, to search for Menkalina, and to continue the lines of the two approximately the same as where the comet should be found. The line from Capella obviously went long, because the next, without lying in ten seconds, Neowise was already in the middle of the field of view. The comet was confusingly bright and even the ancient binoculars showed details of the tail. I was determined to get an observati...

Quite a night. The night clouds were wide and bright, especially the belt going over the zenith from northwest to southeast was a magnificent revelation.

At night, when we went out quickly, there were quite bright night clouds in the north. Low clouds made it much more difficult to define the shapes or scope, but without the other clouds there would certainly have been a spectacular set.
