After a strong thunderstorm, special cloud formations appeared, which then faded fairly quickly. The photos were taken by my daughter Anne Sarajärvi, who has permission to publish the photos.

I drove the Teno River, a stop at the coffee and when I used to stare at the sky I noticed this ring. This trip doesn't change the camera when on a cell phone, so I raped it a bit like the amount. Honor 8

A little late, but better I guess so. I will return to that stunning Northern Lights show on the night of October 7th. The first arcs were already at dusk and the decent performance began at 8.40pm. We went to the shore of the lake with a great view to the north, but surprisingly you also came from the south. The whole landscape was green with the fires at their brightest.

After about an hour of waiting, the dim arc activated to a fine display. We still have a very bright night sky, but the colorful northern lights appeared bright for about 10 minutes. The dull heel was also visible. Season started !!

With the new observation point in mind, I set off on a trip to about nine in the region. Some smaller fires at the top and a lazy arch over the sky. Just over a couple of hours I stared at it and finally the wait was rewarded. After a little over midnight, the arc turned wavy on the other side and the great show began. There were some problems with lens fogging. After one home.

Not an idea of the upcoming Northern Lights night when I went out inspired by the Northern Lights. -5 degrees below zero, so good conditions for that too. The whole sky is full of bright fires for an hour. The corona was cannoned on several occasions. I went to another three of the regions to admire the streaks that went through the sky which then activated into pretty nice belts and rays.

I went on my first trip after 9pm. Not very spectacular fires. New place and new ones coming shortly after 11pm. Impressive performance, even the crown of the bush. Fire was visible all over the sky. For the third time, just before three, even then something slipped through the sky, where there was activity. Pictures from the trip after 23.

After modest northern lights in the evening and midnight, the sky tore in the regions of the two. Fortunately, I could wait. The first ones you photographed in the field, handsome ones too. I went home and thought it was in it. Worth a look out. Really colorful crowns popping one after another. I described in the backyard. When the end was not visible I still went for a short walk on our way home, which fortunately does not burn street lights at night. I don’t think the moon affected the visibility of the repos in any way. These were perhaps the most handsome and colorful fires I have ever see...

Forecasts in red. By car to the parking place, but the road was blocked, so to destination number two. A couple of miles away and when I arrived the full show was already on. Handsome arches and its shapes. I was quick to take a few pictures until the clouds arrived. The sky became clearer later and I made another trip around 1 p.m. It looked pretty great even then and the northern lights were full of the sky.

Surprisingly, the sky was clear as the super moon rose. I made a small walk to the lake, which already carries well, with only a few inches of snow on the ice. I admired the landscape and even flipped a few pictures. I returned home, but had to leave again when the moon was already a little higher. The scenery was really beautiful. The halo was clearly noticeable on the surface of the snow, but on the plane I only really realized what it was all about. So I asked a group and got confirmation that it would be a surface halo to hear.

At sunset at the pond. Nice looking clouds. I wonder if the KH are clouds, or just ordinary. If there are I can put additional pictures.

An unforgettable northern lights observation night. Early night came clouds and a northern lights belt at the same time. Later, colorful belts that weren't very fast-moving. After that, an incredibly great performance began. From the western sky rose an active belt at first, which turned into arches coming from the bottom up towards the zenith. The arches on the left were quite incredibly fast moving. I have not seen such a movement before. I’m not quite sure if they were flaming, fluttering or flowing. Even a little scary when alone there in the dark. For identification, I put that flamin...

The show gig started already in the second half. from the early night some sort of northern lights belt, followed by belts passing through the sky that wobbled lazily. I imagined that at some point it would explode and that’s what happened then. After two, the sky cannoned from all sides. Crowns, rays and whatever. The last picture is then of a strongly pulsating northern lights, so I thought the show was over. After three, the happy mummy went indoors.

In the hope of the Perseids, after the eclipse of the cloud, I could admire the beautiful night clouds. The location is not the best, but I got something for the cell. The sky is still so bright that the stars aren't very different, but a couple of assholes like that, one of them looks great.

I heard the first rumbles at about 8 p.m. I admired the stunning flashes of lightning through the window at home. In my opinion, the strongest thunderstorm in years at these altitudes. It seemed that the front had already passed and the sun was shining in the sky, so I left for the shore of a nearby lake, hoping to see a rainbow. I don’t even know about the sun anymore, but I got badly photographed the first lightning of my life, so that’s why I put it here. Well, that rainbow then appeared, even in double. The rumble was still heard just before 11 p.m.
