In the morning, I noticed from Ursa's social media post that the celestial bodies are close together today. I came back from the accompaniment exercise, so I had to go and take a picture of this phenomenon as well.

I had a hunch that there might be pearls today. It just seemed that there was no need to bother because of normal clouds. I got a call from Veikko Mäkela, and I went to check the situation. Unfortunately, there was a normal cloud in the direction of the sunset, but there were also Type I pearls peeking out from behind.

This comet was also seen in the light pollution of Kallio. If you wanted a somehow more impressive result, you would have had to search for a darker location. I think I just enjoy other people's shots.

The Föhn wind brought pearly clouds when it came, it was just a matter of where you can time the observation yourself. The time of sunset turned out to be excellent, there were plenty of type I clouds in the direction of the setting sun. The brown one was pretty handsome too.

The very promising readings of the magnetic field made us monitor again whether the aurora development begins. First, there was a very dim arc in the sky for a long time, which slowly began to rise higher in the sky. Well after midnight, rays appeared in the arc, and then there was a decent belt in the sky. Even the cell phone has a small cell, but the bright lens makes it apparently adequate for these tasks. At least when compared to the telezoom paperback.

I followed the development of the aurora situation, and I suddenly noticed that now a proper substorm is starting. Nothing to do but look in the yard. I noticed the aurora borealis with my naked eyes, so I had to set up the camera. There was only second-category equipment, so I took a photo of the paperback. It's not very good for these tasks, so the noise picture was broken. But the rays had to be documented.

While chasing the Perseids, the photo gallery was created quite a bit, so a large amount of satellite streaks were also recorded. Even one glimpse remained in the wound. I looked on Heavensat that the flasher would be the USA 314 spy satellite. Likewise, Cosmos 1743 would be in the middle and Oneweb 146 on the right.

The following night was also spent outside watching shooting stars, because the weather was perfect for that. You could see them and I think better than at maximum night. A couple of really bright ones were visible now. The camera was rattling, although less than the night before. Almost a dozen perseids were found in the cell, I put the most spectacular ones in this case.

Regardless, I thought I'd give it a try if you could see the Perseids. It was pretty bad, apparently the sky was somehow cloudy and the seeing wasn't the best. The moon was full, fortunately low, but it still hindered observation. I think I saw a dozen Perseids myself, I caught three on camera. It wasn't a spectacle.

I was observing ospreys, at the same time I noticed a suitable cloud raft creating clouds of color.

The day was moderately cloudy and cleared up at night. Night clouds also appeared in the sky. The display was quite broad, but diffuse and not particularly bright. The end of July can also be seen in the fact that, as the night progresses, the shadow of the Earth starts to be quite low.

A quick check before going to bed, there were night clouds. A couple of brighter belts in the north, in addition to quite a wide area of dull gauze. I couldn't control them anymore.

Quite a nice night cloud show was at hand again, I decided to try out how the paperback performs these tasks. I put it on the stand and there it was, ripping the tiles, while I was trying to avoid the mosquitoes. The repetition of the mosquito experience from a few years ago was not amusing. The temperature was 19 degrees in the summer night, and quite humid when the fog started to form. As the sun was setting, I noticed that the sky was quite foggy. The same was visible in the night cloud scene as a very dark red belt, some of the night clouds are also more red in color.

The clouds partially cleared for a while, so I was able to study the night cloud situation. The spectacular show was going on again, I went to sleep when more low clouds appeared in front of my bed.

The first impression of the play was that there are only faint belts in a small area. I thought I would use the handset to take Observational Photos later and go to sleep. However, at that point, the spectacle had brightened so much that I decided to crawl to the observation point anyway. It was worth it, because the shapes were again very bright and also beautiful in structure. The show was not as wide-ranging as a few nights ago, but still excellent. Mars and Jupiter also hit the panorama, a good comparison base for the brightness of the clouds.

Already before midnight, night clouds began to appear, with low clouds disrupting the situation. It seemed like a reasonably wide display, but when it got dark enough there were mostly bright shapes low in the northeast. I went to bed.

I was thinking of going to bed around 0.40, I decided to take a look at the night cloud situation first. After all, there was such a nice show going on, I took pictures and went to brush my teeth. I thought I'd look at the situation again. The low clouds had receded and very bright bands had appeared. I immediately stated that now the more robust equipment was brought out and to the shooting location. This was easily one of the hardest plays I've witnessed. At least this season, it's not easy to think that something similar will happen again. If that happens, then there is probably...

Already the third cloudy night in a row, I couldn't bring myself to go to any more special place to shoot. At the same time, I noticed that Gorillapod is apparently old. At least I was able to take pictures with it.

I went at night to take a look at the night cloud situation and there was a really loud show on there. I just couldn't bring myself to go hunting with the old man, so I snapped the pictures with my cell phone. I should have used my own instead of the work phone, I would have gotten a much better picture quality.

Pirjo and I had a virtual chat again. I also said from Parts that there are now wide night clouds. Nothing but a camera and a tripod to take and shoot, on a summer night it was nice to chat with a dog walker. The brightest time of the year and the clouds were so clearly distinct, I guess the corresponding play a month later would have been really stunning.
