Christmas night fell on one of the few clear nights after the opposition of Mars, so it was supposed to capture something from the red planet. The weather was quite reasonable for a while.

The bright and wide-illuminated night clouds created quite spectacular reflections in the water on a calm summer evening.

When I arrived at the observation site, the fires were calm. In the northwest, I noticed a dim bundle of opaque rays that have since been confirmed to function as a Steve arc and the associated “picket fence” structure. I did not see the actual long curve at my observation site due to light pollution and terrain obstacles.

The Bz component of the magnetic field dropped well to minus, suitably in the darkest time of the night, and for a couple of minutes was visible to the naked eye among the night clouds illuminating the northern lights.

The evening ride to Lake Bodominjö occasionally served quite a nice ride, mainly in the form of an active belt and rays. However, the denser cloudboards tumbled more or less to disturb the time of the brightest fires.

No notable northern lights were observed for Thursday night due to cloud cover, but a clearer 22-degree ring was visible for at least half an hour instead.

Despite the rather cloudy situation, the sky opened at midnight at Kutuniva and at times very bright flakes stuck to the cell.

On Tuesday, the heat wave brought by the Föhntues and the Gusts took the rest of the cannon shelters from the trees of the fells, but even during the trip they had to deviate on the slopes of Pallas - Luva when there was a Tuesday-Wednesday night G1-level repos. However, the gusty 20m / s gusts of wind quilted snowshoeing very far from the lower slopes. In the sky began to happen after midnight, half the lifelines of one of the countries rose to the crown. Next, a really bright two-line belt appeared from the northwest, with strong waves. From now on, the action around the sky was mostly so he...

Even in the south, after the clouds receded, valid repos that stole the show from the maximum of the geminids. At its best, more than half of the sky was a mere green gauze due to its high density, but from time to time a rather lively belt moved on the west-north axis. A decent active corona did not develop at the time of observation.

A bright fireball in a still cloudless part of the sky, the flight I noticed around the east-southeast axis and the extinction in the southwest, a long flight. A clearly brighter glowing song at the tip and seemed to "wobble". Extinguished by fading near the Milky Way in the southwest. There were no noises from nearby traffic. The final stage of the flight hit a landscape illumination, and the next screen showed a hint of smoke at the top left of the image - hence the cropping with a bit of boost.

The noticeable greenery of the arc of northern lights before half past twelve, which was then confirmed by the camera - The rays initially gymnasted in the northeast, spreading little by little. The red color at the top of the rays was only visible in the images by screwing the camera's sensitivity. A nice addition were the night clouds that were later captured in the same pictures.

There was a reasonable amount of buzz in the flock even for the night after the maximum, noticing the creeping clouds. Immediately after dusk, I observed about 15-20 flights in less than a couple of hours.
