I still had to try photographing the comet despite the moon, when the weather cleared.

The colorful sunset was also reflected in the meeting of the Moon and Jupiter.

Higher and higher praise the comet. Movement is already visible in longer exposures, not to mention several hours. The comet stood out to the naked eye, especially when there was a nearby star to look at first. During the night there was variable cloudiness, starting from completely cloudy to clear weather in the morning.

Voitto Pitkanen, Ursa (Pohjois-Suomi)
As the evening darkened before clouding over, there was a bit of shooting time due to the signs of clearer weather, and the comet's position also became more precise with the stars lighting up in the middle sky. Even so that with the 600 mm lens I was able to locate it directly as a light spot.

Pearly clouds could be seen in the southwest direction in a fairly wide area around sunset.

A 10-minute gap was found in the middle of the northern lights and upper clouds, which I used to search for and photograph the comet. After a long time, a small opportunity for this hobby as well.

Full moon and northern lights on the northeastern horizon. With a little guesswork, the location of the Northern Crown was found, and yes, the comet also stood out from there as a small speck. The aurora borealis stretched from one bank of the sky to the other in a northeast-southwest direction. It was 'only' -17 degrees below zero and it felt really cold for this winter. Some shooting stars in the east. Nice weather for watching the starry sky, but not for a closer look.

At the end of a clear day, pearly brown colored the sky towards the southwest after the sun set.

Voitto Pitkanen
For a long time, the weather was clear, although there was some fog in the eastern sky. The frost got as cold as -16 degrees before the clouds and condensation. In addition to the Pleiades and the North America Nebula, the view was colored by the planet Mars.

I spotted a bright cloud formation from the southeast in the morning twilight. Must have been pearly clouds.
