The nicest avalanche I've ever seen. An indescribably magnificent revelation. Lightning was also intense in Vantaa. This time came home from bonga. Nice variation for being on the road.

Great early evening thunder at Merikarvia. The lightning was surprisingly intense and we got more ground lightning at a very close distance before the downpour came on.

I followed a thundercloud from the beach in Espoo when it developed a funnel cloud far out to sea.

On Friday 3.8 I watched thunderstorms in Eastern Finland. The lightning was fierce in places, and as the loudest thunder passed into the sky, spectacular mammoths arose. A avalanche cloud also passed over the observation site, from which it lightened heavily.

With this one day, the saddest thunderstorm of all time certainly became a long-to-remember one. For many days, enthusiasts had been watching the combination of GFS + Hirlam + Harmonie + Myrskyvaroitus.com for a long time. The boom was at the 2010 level. Eventually, when Saturday morning came and the values were still in place, the outfit headed in large numbers to the chase. Some of the models showed even more northern alternatives, but after the nut, this southern scenario was found to be the strongest. So head close to the south coast. Along the way, many enthusiasts in the field met, of wh...

Chaset thunderstorms all day on the west coast. During the afternoon we could admire the relatively nice lightning around Eurajoki and Luvia. Finally, I drove up Road 8 and decided to watch the last lightning strikes of the evening at sea from the port of Merikarvia. Surprisingly, a relatively handsome avalanche cloud was born right in front and gave a few flashes as well as brisk gusts of wind as it came over. Overall, a great thunderstorm for this summer.

The avalanche cloud came from the south / southwest direction and both passed and crossed the observation site in Helsinki. The lightning-fast portion of the cloud passed from the west, but the avalanche cloud was spectacular and gusts of wind beneath the cloud poles.

After a long wait, a stronger thunderstorm finally hit Helsinki. At 10:30 p.m., distant lightning from the sea began to appear at the observation site, and at 12:00 a.m., a "full brawl" began. During the busiest period after midnight, at the observation site on the shores of Hernesaari, lightning flashes every few seconds. The wind and rain were weaker than expected in Helsinki, but the lightning was very spectacular. Along the morning, lightning was still visible over Helsinki. Absolutely Awesome Experience!
