I photographed Sherata's star, a variable star with a visual magnitude of 2.66 and a distance of 59.6 light years from Earth. It belongs to the constellation Aries. In the same image was also the star Mesarthim, which consists of two almost identical stars, each with a magnitude of about 4.8 and a distance of 8". It can be easily separated into two even with a small telescope. The image is stacked from 14 images with a 2 second exposure using DeepSky. Stacker
