On the singing stage, cannons on and light ice fog. Yes, it was less common, but I interpreted it to mean that you liked that bosta. Unusually windy weather. It would have been a decent ice fog if it was calmer. - - - - - Update: I made a 60 km trip to Tuupovaara and there was noise all the way except for one short section. The ice fog seen on the singing stage was the same and the cannons had no part in it. This interpretation was confirmed when, on the way to Tuupovaara, we encountered real cannon ice fog. First I noticed a typical gray flat mass in front as shown in picture 3. In picture fo...

The surface solar arc surprised by freezing in the shelters of the marina. The angle of the phenomenon is quite narrow, you wouldn't need to be much higher than the sun to reach out to become a Bottlinger. The moon phase is too weak to attempt it at night. I was equipped with my phone, I clicked pictures and quickly stacked 16 of them by hand. The first is the maximum stack, the second is the average stack. Thirdly, a single image which is, as it should be, significantly worse than the visual impression. Keli was perhaps not quite an archetype. In the morning there was a moderate wind acco...

22 ° upside down again. Admittedly, this could also be 23 ° p, but there is no time on the stacks.

And the tube of curves flanking 22 ° just goes on. In the evening, in the cirrus of deaf clouds, side sun, zyk, 22 rings.

Promising looking 22 above the sky, but I didn’t have time to stack. It started to fade, too. 28.5. is the only day in May for the period beginning with the Sky Guard, in which no halo observation has been made in the rari in any year.

Stack comparison Nikon D7000 vs. Canon 80D as Martikainen and Riikonen cameras, respectively. At the time of observation 136 images, every 5 s (one simultaneous slightly longer pause was in between). The same size, aperture, shutter speed in the cameras. In Photoshop, the color heat and ink are put together before the tif conversion and subsequent stacking with a full reset with Halostack. Then a larger image of the 80D is the same size as the D7000 and the following adjustments are made identically (80D on the left): 1. 2 x usm (radius 25, 25) 2. 3 x usm (radius 25, 25, 12.5) 3. br + bgr 4. b...

Day 25 was an exceptionally continuous high cloud from morning until sunset. Here are a couple of stacks. Pyraa apparently had been in the morning, the 18 and 23 ° slips appearing in the stack of the first image taken at 0740-0809. 46 frames, 30s exposures through ND filter. I hadn’t remembered to seem to wipe the debris off the lens at that point. Second stack later before noon, there are 52 squares in there. The 46 ° basin was visible to the naked eye. The observation will be continued as long as there is time to process the images, in which the 46 ° ring and the 46 ° top side are better vis...

I got a series of pictures from the reflection sun. 1. A stack of 36 images of the best stage during 1m 43s at 19:56:35-19:58:18. Little usm given. 2. Single organic image 3. A video with a whole series of 71 shots during 3m 27s at 19:55:37 - 19:59:04. Framerate 20 / s. Squares slightly hazy. (Video quality suffered from the transfer to the Watch pretty much). But is that a haa? There are equally sharp reflected cloud rays in the stack (only the cloud rays move faster and blur away). Although the potential hook dominates the view. Whether it is. If not, let the observation be moved to the cate...

The pillar appeared in the upper cloud fiber after sunset. I shot lazily on my cell phone at first, but it saturates the snippet and when I moved on to the stage, the best glory was already over in this 2228 picture.

22 ° ring from the train in Jyväskylä. A little later also a side sun that is not pictured.

Spots of cloud rays reflected in the morning on the lower surface of the cloud when there was a suitable clear gap below. I took a series of pictures just in case the haa appeared. But often they snuggle up to appear without hps. Apparently I also became warm by making images of the ground that is at the time of observation at 5s intervals.

The elliptical camera watched the moon again at the time of the observation. Now there was more potential than the night before, as most of the time the moon was behind the edge of Ac. But then it just evaporated away without turning into crystals. I stacked a 15x30s perimeter. 7 minutes into the game, a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide.

Yesterday, I stabbed the elliptical guard to hit the moon for a few hours. Here is a snippet after the last camera orientation. The cloud situation was not the most optimal in terms of ellipses, but not completely impossible. The perimeter appeared on two occasions, I happened to be outside myself then. The first was a large and bright perimeter in some middle cloud, i.e. at this point there was therefore potency in the ellipse. The other was in an invisible flat cloud, something foggy. Otherwise, the cloud is an upper cloud with a 22 ° ring visible outside the image. Yes, based on this perime...

Yesterday I was stacking halos of the approaching warm front. Nothing came from something weird, like the last picture, a stack of 297 pictures every 7s shows. The list also includes halos that do not appear in this image. I did this Watch report only because I came to switch from 16mm to 4.5mm while the play was showing, where the ND filter in the latter allowed 30s exposure, and these relatively close-up images allowed for comparison. Of course, they are not directly comparable when there are different lenses and even a moment in the play is not exactly the same. But you can get some clues. ...

I filmed this play through a particularly dark Kodak Wrate gelatin ND filter I slid into the bottom of a 4.5 milligram Sigma. I got 30s shutter speeds with aperture f13. I was most pleased to be able to see the lower solar arc in the mirror (I pierced Martikainen with an enthusiastic message about this in the hectic nature of the situation), but the joy was reduced afterwards by the statement that I didn't notice the Wegener next door. At its best, the 46 ° overhang was really impressive in its color and intensity. This play would have certainly slipped past my eyes unless I had woken up b...
