Filmed at the DS meeting fast-moving comet C / 2016 A8 (LINEAR). Attached are 7 pictures out of ten. Dropped images from a stack with a comet on top of a star. In addition to the coma, there is also a slightly dull tail. Comes stacked according to the comet, a negative image and stacked according to the stars, which clearly shows the movement of the comet in about 20 minutes.

41P was also photographed in the photometry workshop. The moonlight did eat the blade away from the target. However, the comet has brightened last time. Image flipped to the north at the top. #pyrstö 5 'PA 150 °

C / 2015 V2 (Johnson) was also one of the subjects photographed during the photometry workshop. The moon was a nuisance here too, but the comet with its tails is still quite visible. The image is flipped so that the north is up. #pyrstö: 13 'PA 320 °

I noticed a couple of fireball sightings in the Sky Watch, so I checked out my own timelapse camera video for night clouds. At the observed times, I did not notice the fireballs in the video but the suspicious flash appeared at 00:47 (about 1 minute behind the camera clock). From the magnified (300%) image, I interpret that there could be a meteor flash.

I put a Brinno timelapse camera to shoot and the screen removed from the picture looks like a moderately bright meteor. I later checked the Heavens-Above site for at least Iridium or any other bright satellite found on that site. In the second picture, another suspicious-looking streak a few minutes later. The interval between the images in the video was 20s. The camera clock was about a couple of minutes behind. Link to the video here .

The first time my work star star grabbed an object that could be classified as a fireball.

However, I missed a couple of fireballs in the time lapse camera while I was already asleep. Here's the first one.

So in the evening already from Taivaanvahti that there had been a few fireball sightings and one from Sastamala on the basis of which I thought that the fireball could have remained in the picture of the work camera. And in the morning when I checked I found out that this had happened. Quite short looks at this angle. When the seed of doubt was sown, it had to be checked that there could also be a flash of the Cosmos 1140 satellite.

I noticed the northern lights from Tampere's Ursa weather camera and went to see if the sausage window opened to the west - I was surprised to see it despite the moonlight.

I was on a ski holiday at home in Central Finland and the purpose was to describe the Garradd comet. While frosting the goods, I noticed a bright warp in the sky so the frosting got to stay and I went to shoot repos. The play was the best I've seen in a long time. During the weekend's trip to Utsuvaara in Kittilä (Levi's igloo), the hope was to see the northern lights as well. Unfortunately, the wish came true for only 5 minutes as a faint gauze visible from the gap in the clouds. Well, that didn't bother me because the views from the glass-roofed igloo were really stunning. It occurred to me that that igloo would be an ideal (albeit expensive) place to spot even geminide star flights. In the picture below, some sort of panoramic play about the accommodation. A bit of a kitchen is when hand composed of several images taken with a putty lens.

From the weather camera in Ursa, Tampere, I noticed that the repos were brighter. Quickly camera in the armpit and out in a slightly darker place. Unfortunately, when walking, the best time was to fade. I then waited for a while and some activity developed but then I went back when it turned into gauze.

I picked up the girl from the hobby and when I came I turned to a new place (dump) to check what the vistas are there. Visibility was pretty good but there was enough light pollution. Before leaving, the weather camera had dim greenery and nothing could be seen with that naked eye on that hill either. But the camera saw and I took a few pictures for a panoramic experiment. The first combined with a Photoshop automaton and the second with Micrsofot's ICE. In the second, 'more natural light pollution coloring'.

At night, I headed to the observatory for a comet yacht and while waiting I noticed northern lights. Unfortunately, the stand did not come along but something I got described. After all, the camera saw red.

After staring at the curves, I rushed to the shore of Kauppi, where there was actually a hike. The screening was a bit quieter compared to the pre-annealing (for example, no colors other than light / green were visible to the naked eye), but I was able to go home satisfied.

Again, I left the old pocket camera to shoot from the workplace window. This time, quite vivid and colorful repos happened to be left in the wounds. Tampere Ursa's weather cameras recorded the colors even better, but red was also clearly visible in my own pictures. Here is a link to the timelaps video .
