It was again a wonderful experience - due to its rarity, perhaps one of the most beautiful experiences nature has to offer. Once again, the time of perfection (3min 40s) felt so short. The best halo show at your place! I was going to work and right at the front door I noticed that now there is something more special in the sky. I have to pick up the inside of the paperback. The commute then was quite delayed when I had to shoot at every turn. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to process the raw images yet, but you can see something in these as well. I was in Central Finland during the New Year and I quoted a handsome pearl show. While playing, it made little difference to peek out the window and photograph from time to time from the balcony. At one point it looked very much like there was a Kelvin-Helmholtz structure in the cloud but when I got out with the camera it was almost gone. So the show was minutes away.

Finally a decent night cloud show. I woke up at half past three, looked out and found that now it was worth leaving. So I cycled with the cameras to the fields of Irjala and immortalized the play for the cells and the retina. It was great though +15 and it felt cool in the body after the heat. The nature experience was complemented by seeing a pair of hares and a fox. The color scheme of Canon's panorama still needs to be corrected. A small timelapse of the play here .
