The halo of the sun. Car park and shoot. The lens was a bit dusty, but when I noticed that phenomenon, I didn't remember to clean it.

Summer was at its best in the outer Kvarken archipelago, there was enough heat and the seawater temperature was twenty degrees. A nice summer day and evening other than due to the eclipse of the moon. The place is rare in itself that due to the uplift, the filming took place only a moment ago on land that rose from the sea. The rise of the moon was slightly overshadowed by the forest to the southeast of the viewing area, but more by cloudiness. The moon did not appear high until after the phase of complete eclipse. Initially shooting at 400mm and 800mm. After that with 200 milligrams of landsc...

In the outer Kvarken archipelago, thunder clouds approached at a tremendous rate. From the warm mirror cushion, the weather instantly turned chilly and windy. Thunderstorm passed the observation site, but the rain watered properly. Pictures of the approaching thunder front.

Leaving the Andromeda Observatory in Vaasa, northern lights appeared in the sky. They were already visible before, but it was only at this stage that you could photograph.

In the midst of the spring migration of birds, a beautiful halo appeared in the sky. The wide angle lens comfortably got the landscape and the whole phenomenon in the same picture.

I was at Söderfjärden filming the star scenery, but the fog surprised and had to be handed over. Stuff in the car and after a while I noticed the artificial light pillars. After all, all that helps is to stop and start perpetuating the phenomenon. EDIT: A couple of bonus pictures added to tell about the prevailing weather about 15 minutes before the artificial light pillars appear.

Today I had to apply for a place with the widest possible view, Söderfjärden in Vaasa was very well suited for that. Very beautiful pearl clouds were waiting for their forever when I got the camera ready. I shot a panorama at a slightly longer focal length and individual shots of clouds at a wide angle. To top it all off, swans just left in the direction of the pearl clouds that I managed to get a picture of. This was a nice combination of bird photography and celestial phenomena.

8/31/2016 12:00:54 AM a bright object grabbed the cell. The shutter speed in this image is 10 seconds. The flight path is lighter in the middle than at the ends and quite wide.

The Milky Way was visible on a clear Monday night sky. The fog / light pollution slightly disturbed the shooting, but our home galaxy gripped the cell quite nicely. The intention was to stack the Milky Way into a more spectacular whole, but it will remain the work of another evening. Milky Way exposure 180 seconds, one exposure. The landscape is exposed for 30 sec.

The clear evening turned a little hazy after the performance of Andromeda in Vaasa. However, I had to grab a couple of pictures of the Milky Way. It was convenient to observe objects from the observatory, including Neptune and Uranus.

As a by-product of the animal's description, it was necessary to immortalize the halo phenomenon that appeared in the sky. On summer mornings it is not worth sleeping. :)

Artificial light pillars photographed from the slopes of Vuokatti. I noticed the pillars only at home, so no pictures were taken of the longer focal length of them.

The halo of the sun in Närpiö. As I drove the car, I noticed a circle around the sun. Nothing but a car by the roadside and to photograph. Pretty faintly, the halo is visible, but there it was nonetheless.

Northern lights in Mustasaari. The moon had just risen and illuminated the landscape. The flying object also grabbed the image. The first picture in the series, so unfortunately the settings aren't quite right on the camera.
