Telescopic comet Leonard

24.10.2021 at 01.45 - Jyväskylä (II)
Petri Tikkanen, Jyväskylän Sirius

Seti requested observations from comet C / 2021 A1. At the time of shooting, eVscope wasn't very strange.

NGC 6960 (Western Veil Nebula)

27.9.2021 at 23.59 - Jyväskylä (III)
Petri Tikkanen, Jyväskylän Sirius

A small cloudless moment from the starry sky on offer, and no suitable exoplanet or asteroid on offer, so I photographed various mists in the middle of light pollution in the city of light in Jyväskylä. Telescope Unistellar eVscope + DGM NPB filter. Western Veil Nebula WOW well now the NPB filter was worth the price! A piece of space fog shot over the center of Jyväskylä can be seen wonderfully! 4 photos, one pair treated with Lightroom, the other as they appeared from the "eyepiece"

Telescope Unistellar eVscope + DGM NPB filter. destination Faint Ring Nebula. Well. for once the name is very apt. ("faint" tirsk ...)

Petri Tikkanen, Jyväskylän Sirius

A small cloudless moment from the starry sky on offer, and no suitable exoplanet or asteroid on offer, so I photographed various mists in the middle of light pollution in the city of light in Jyväskylä. Telescope Unistellar eVscope + DGM NPB filter. the target was the TIE Fighter Nebula (or Little Saturn Nebula) ... yes. No HDTV picture quality. :-P

This is M57

Sun

8.9.2021 at 15.50 - Jyväskylä (IV)
Petri Tikkanen, Jyväskylän Sirius

Sunspots 8.9.2021 Telescope Unistellar eVscope + Astrosolar filter and NPB, which I could not separately remove for this image. Combined from two images with Photoshop and color and contrast adjustment with Lightroom.

22 degree halo around the sun

M16

31.8.2021 at 22.00 - 22.40 - Jyväskylä (IV)
Petri Tikkanen, Jyväskylän Sirius

M16 Eagle Nebula and Creation Pillars with Unistellar eVscope telescope and DGM NPB filter. 40min exposure through city and highway with light pollution, lake mist and thin cloud. With the naked eye, not a single star was visible in the direction of the object. The height of the M16 from the horizon was 11 degrees.

M57 Lyran rengassumu

13.8.2021 at 23.44 - Jyväskylä (IV)
Petri Tikkanen, Jyväskylän Sirius

Jyväskylän Sirius Ry organized a Perseid observation night in Stavanger Park in Jyväskylä. I came to the scene myself with the eVscope telescope. About ten observers at a time can safely watch with a telescope, using their own cell phone or iPad by installing the Unistellar app! At the same time, the eVscope image can be shared with online participants. The farthest spectators were from Australia! Here's the M57 Lyra tire fog. Compared to the lift weight mist it is surprisingly small, but the white dwarf in the middle is easily visible!

Jupiter

13.8.2021 at 01.14 - Jyväskylä (III)
Petri Tikkanen, Jyväskylän Sirius

Jupiter Unistellar's eVscope. A tricky subject when the planet and its moons are not optimally displayed in the same image, but the image should be constructed from two exposures. It is planned to take a video of this later on the iPad and stack the best pictures of it.

M92

13.8.2021 at 00.24 - Jyväskylä (V)
Petri Tikkanen, Jyväskylän Sirius

Jyväskylän Sirius Ry organized a Perseid observation night in Stavanger Park. I tuned my Unistellar eVscopeni and told attendees that if they wished, they could install the Unistellar api on their cell phone and view the observations securely on their own phone. This is the target of the spherical constellation M92. Moist air, fog clouds and the lights of the center of Jyväskylä did not make observation easy, but the spherical star clusters are wonderfully visible!
