The Elephant Snake Nebula (IC1396A) is located in the constellation of Cepheus about 2,400 light-years from Earth. In the first image, I tried to mimic the color world of the Hubble Space Telescope, the second comes through the Optolong L-eXtreme filter as is, and the third is a "close-up" of the tip. Exposure for 5 hours and 45 minutes.

The Pelican Nebula is located in the constellation of Swan about 1,500 light-years from Earth (There is a piece of North American nebula in the upper left corner). Exposure for 4 hours and 25 minutes

Oh, it's nice to describe these galaxies too. I returned to the Triangle Galaxy for a long time and it is incredibly magnificent! I photographed this for two nights and the exposure for a total of 2 hours and 45 minutes.

A piece of North American fog in the color world of the Hubble Space Telescope. Exposure for a total of 5 hours and 15 minutes. For shooting, I used an Optolong L-eXtreme narrowband filter and for image processing, PixInsight and tricks to make OSC data like a Hubble palette. There are several tutorials on the topic on YouTube. The second image is "more normal" and the third a close-up of Cygnus Wall. What is its official equivalent in Finnish?

I had already dreamed of filming the California fog for a long time, and now I was filming it two nights when it happened to “peek” between the trees appropriately. Exposure for 4 hours and 25 minutes. For imaging, I used an Optolong L-eXtreme narrowband filter.

NGC 6960

The first target in October was the gauze mist and the upper part of the mist is the western gauze mist, i.e. NGC 6960. Exposure for 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Part of the Heart Nebula (IC 1805) and the Fishhead Nebula (IC 1795, bottom right), located in the constellation Cassiopeia about 7,500 light-years from Earth. I photographed this with an Optolong L-eXtreme narrowband filter and processed the second image in a way that mimics the color scheme of the famous Hubble Space Telescope. Exposure for exactly 3 hours.

The third target of the fall was the Eastern Harsosumu, which I have not photographed before. In the description, I used a filter that passes only the emission lines of ionized hydrogen (H-alpha) and oxygen (Oxygen III). In the picture, red represents hydrogen and blue oxygen. Exposure for a total of 4 hours and 20 minutes.

The second target of the fall filming season was the old classic, the Andromeda Galaxy. Exposure accumulated for a comfortable 4 hours and 5 minutes.

While waiting for the Andromeda galaxy to appear from behind the tree, I photographed this open constellation. The Bubble Nebula (NGC 7635) also happened. The M52 is located about 4,600 light-years from Earth. Exposure total 1h55min.

A double set of the constellation of Perseus was chosen as the opening target of the constellation season. The telescope was the old and widely used Sky-Watcher 80ED Pro-series, which is meant to describe such a season mainly. It's good to continue with this!

(6360) 1978 UA7

I photographed Leon's constellation Messier 65 galaxy last week and the picture happened to an asteroid (6360) 1978 UA7! The animation made from 23 images starts on March 9, 2021 at 11:01 PM and ends on March 10, 2021 at 4:24 AM. That asteroid is located in the asteroid zone between Mars and Jupiter. Its orbit around the Sun is 1354 days, or about 3 years and 8 months. The asteroid was discovered on October 27, 1978.

My first light for this item! I dreamed for a long time that I could photograph this subject and finally succeeded! The darkness of the scene was Bortle on a scale of 4, while in Helsinki, for example, it is 9, which is the worst. Each sub-picture was absolutely stunning in quality and not a trace of light pollution. Exposure for a total of exactly five hours.

My first light for this item! The Horsehead Nebula (Barnard 33) is a dark mist in the constellation Orion about 1375 light-years from Earth. At the bottom left is the blue reflective fog NGC 2023 and on the left side of the image light rays are brought to the image by the bright Alnitak star of the Orion belt. Pictured exposure only 3 hours and 45 minutes!

I photographed Fossil Footprint Nebula, or NGC 1491, for a total of 8 hours and 10 minutes in one night. For shooting, I used an L-eXtreme narrowband filter. The second image is a mere fog from which the stars have been removed using the StarNet tool in PixInsight.

The second subject of the filming period was the Sickle Nebula of the Swan constellation. For imaging, I used a new Optolong L-eXtreme filter that passes through Ha and OIII wavelengths. In the second image, I mimicked narrowband processing.
