When observing the persides, a few brighter flights belonging to a clearly different flock also grabbed the cell. Visually estimated flights could belong to alpha-capricornids (CAP) , although antihelion (ANT) and northern delta watercolors (NDA) are in the same direction. Pictures larger in this year's ass gallery. Sure, I’m not 100 sure about that flock of meteors, but with the brightness, I thought I’d put my own report on these.

Asshole hunt. 13.-14.8. the night between took to the same place as the previous one ; to the countryside between Nastola's Uudenkylä and Orimattila, a quiet field landscape. The rain of the day kept the terrain moist, but the fog was less of a nuisance than the night before. Instead, the clouds covered most of the sky, first from the south, moving through the west and zenith to the north. In addition to the clouds, the moon, which was about a full phase, brought its own challenges. Despite the distractions, there was commendable activity on the sky deck - both greenish asses and more spar...

Pastel persimmons. The bright moon, low-flying clouds, and rain-disturbing humidity didn’t really make it easy to observe, but standing in the middle of the field landscape, one could only smile at the stargazing rain from the sky. Pictures larger. Giffi larger. Photos and video based on a quick browsing of the material, the replenishment will follow.

This year, the moon will interfere with the observation of the asses at maximum time, so a small stealth start for observation will not hurt. The video was caught in ~ 20 minutes with five clear flights and one dimmer. Summary of flights , as well as a limited version.

Alarm rape from the evening run: night clouds again over the northern horizon. Not very widespread or bright, but may brighten closer to morning.

The nights darken, the night clouds brighten. An evening walk took me to the Viuha Nature Reserve. Founded a few years ago, the area provided a pretty nice atmosphere in the twilight of a summer night, with the trail taking you through soft mossy terrain and rhizome cliffs. The swan was greeted by a small pond. As you toured the pond, there was also a surprising sight in the middle against the darkest spruce, the first gloss worm of the summer. However, as I climbed from Suvanno to the rocky opening, the sky showed a more traditional acquaintance of the summer, a gentle night cloud (Figure 4) ...

A mobile alarm from jogging, the northern half of the sky lapping at night clouds. --- Added the rest of the images from the night to the report. Larger: pictures , video . The strongest night cloud mass was sometimes seen in the west - northwest - north, where there was a lot of wave, but the eastern sky also had a single dim shape. These northern backlit night clouds are clearly more glowing compared to the southern winning performances of the previous week. In a darker sky (assuming geometry still allowed for lighting), the show would have been very bright. The flow of previous night clouds...

In connection with the Starlink observation , I also look for night clouds in the clear sky. Nothing was noticed with the naked eye, but for sure, I still panned the horizon with the camera. When the pictures are torn apart from the north, you can find a suitable form for night clouds. Night cloud observations have been made in Western and Central Europe for a week now, so it's nice to be able to open the season in this direction when the weather finally allows it. First image at USM, second and third partial boundaries, without Nelonen.

With the clouds, the bonga of SpaceX’s Starlink satellites hasn’t been successful before, but tonight was finally clear in the right direction. However, finding satellites in the clear night sky of summer is quite tricky even if you know the orbital information. With the naked eye, I didn’t see anything in the end, but the video grabbed a little cosmic hose. Link to video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzxqlfEkIYw On their current orbits, the Starlinks will rise at a maximum of 22 degrees from the Lahti horizon, slightly higher than the ISS space station. The brightness estimate is about 3 m...

The evening walk took me to the shores of Lake Joutjärvi to the bats. Surprisingly, a familiar-looking movement was visible on the southern horizon - the ISS and its astronauts made a visit. Next time items in the same picture ..

The lunar eclipse was this time with a slightly lower effort than last time. The idea was to put a timelapse camera to pound on the balcony, take a few telephotos from the beginning and sink into the cribs. In the dark bluish sky, however, the roaring red-orange moon passed as it went and the wanderings continued until the morning. In addition to the moon itself, Finnair's flight AY452 from Oulu to Helsinki was also (apparently) intercepted at ~ 7.41. In the gallery, the pictures are larger. Also flight and timelapse video format.

On Assassination Day, the starry sky was visible for a moment, allowing Wirtas to be recorded in the home region. The adjoining street lamp and the rapidly turning on cloud front quickly limited observation to a 35-millimeter image, so there is no sure perception to be felt. Therefore, the title of the observation is a binocular comet. Larger.

After less than an hour's drive, a place was found in the province where the stars were visible. However, the joy did not last much more than a quarter as the low cloud curtain covered the sky again. However, even at a quick glance, it was clear that there was enough activity in the geminides. During the quarter, the images were captured by eight geminids, the video more (at a rate of about one flight per minute). The report also shows Comet Wirtanen as a friend. When I went on a late night shopping trip, I noticed a particularly clear sky compared to the season, so in addition to my wallet, I got a camera and a small tracking stand. Slightly outside the city, when I got to the edge of the field, I was annoyed by the moon already splitting the horizon, but nonetheless, the first observation of Wirtase was successful. The 35-millimeter doesn't make a terribly tight delineation, but not much detail would have come off the comet, which was hidden at a height of about six degrees. Isn't this a decent comet yet? If the weather allows. In addition to...

While one camera was shooting from the northern northern lights display, there was a paperback and light tracking pointing in the opposite direction. There is quite a lot to explore in the constellations of Orion and Taurus, and the dark mists between them are especially fascinating. The humid air did not make it easier to shoot, and the cloudy veil and the shallowness of the subject did not facilitate image processing, but surprisingly well the data was captured even with light equipment. The shooting set weighs (camera, monitor, tripod) approx. 1750 grams. View larger.

Cassiopeia. On the first star shooting trip of the fall, almost everything seemed to go awry, but luckily something was left in my hand as well. The clouds bothered me a lot until it cleared .. and the monitoring ran out of power. Fortunately, however, the cloudy veil can be used to highlight the brighter stars of the constellation. Larger.

In my hometown on the weekend, I glanced out the window just before going to bed - clear. After all, it didn't help to suddenly grab the camera by the armpit and move to the yard. However, the arrival of the clouds did not have to wait long. With a few minutes of convulsions, a couple of visually orionide-like flights grabbed the cell.
